Willowtrees is not just a day care and nursery school. Willowtrees is an open, multicultural space with something for everyone – parents, younger and older siblings and even those who have not yet been born.
A place for soon-to-be parents
in cooperation with the U čápa Birth Centre Prenatal care and birth preparation courses are provided by Zuzana Štromerová, a midwife with experience from her private practice and from several healthcare facilities here and abroad. A space for the littlest ones
Come with us to discover the world of infants through their eyes and hands. Together with our lector you and your children can play in a new way, discover their worldview, marvel at abilities you never knew they had and get inspiration for work and play at home. Activities and seminars for all ages
Based upon interest, we will follow up the nursery’s afternoon activities (aikido, theatre, dance, cooking and handiwork, arts and crafts, to be joined in the future by yoga, creative recorders and others) with activities open to older children, parents with children or only parents, who can leave their children in the playroom for the duration of the activity. Based upon interest, we will also be continuing with last year’s Montessori seminars for parents with children from 3 to 6 years of age, at which you can get to know Montessori principles, try using aids that you don’t commonly encounter along with your children and get inspiration for working with children at home, all in the framework of a cycle of two-hour gatherings with some of our teachers.
